Frequently Asked Questions

Which massage should I choose for myself?

You can browse our page to find detailed descriptions of each type of massage and the benefits they offer. Additionally, you can contact us by phone or message, and based on your needs and desired results, we can guide and advise you on choosing the most suitable massage for you.

Can I visit your location without an appointment?

Unfortunately, this option is not available, as the session schedule is arranged only after the appointment is confirmed, and we may not be an available to assist you.

How long does a massage treatment last?

The average duration for a full-body massage is approximately one hour.

What should I know for my first visit?

We will ask you for your medical history. Then, we will begin by asking you general questions to determine which areas you would like special attention to be given, whether there are any conditions that need to be addressed, and to establish whether the massage is suitable for you and that there are no contraindications.

Do I need to be fasting before each session?

Ideally, you should allow 2 1/2 hours to digest any food you’ve eaten before your session. However, having a light meal 1 to 1 1/2 hours prior to the session should not pose a significant issue.

How often should you have a massage?

Enjoy the benefits of professional massage with regular sessions:

  • Injury recovery: Ideally twice a week for faster healing.
  • Improved circulation & lymphatic flow: Recommended every 1–2 weeks for better energy and rejuvenation.
  • General wellness: Once a month for relaxation and balance of body and mind.
Are there any side effects?

After a deep tissue massage, you may experience soreness or discomfort for a few days. Some people might feel discomfort during a session, especially if the therapist is targeting specific problem areas.

It’s important to inform your massage therapist if the pressure becomes painful. Sports massage may not be suitable for everyone. If you have any of the following conditions, please consult your doctor before scheduling a session:

  • Nerve injuries
  • History of blood clots or clotting disorders
  • Menstruation
  • Increased risk of injury (e.g., fractures)
  • Stomach disorders
  • Hernias (in specific areas)
  • Wounds or skin conditions
  • Recent surgery or chemotherapy
Can I have a massage if I have an injury or chronic pain?

Yes, but it’s important to inform your therapist about any injuries or chronic pain before the session. The professional will adjust techniques to ensure the massage is safe and effective, supporting recovery and pain relief. In some cases, a medical consultation may be recommended before the massage.

When will I notice results after a massage?

The effects of a massage can often be felt immediately after the session, including relaxation, reduced muscle tension, and an improved mood. For longer-lasting benefits, such as enhanced circulation, relief from chronic pain, or injury recovery, regular sessions are recommended based on your individual needs.

What should I wear during the massage?

During the massage, you can wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Typically, clients remain in their underwear and are covered with a towel or sheet, with only the area being worked on exposed. The focus is on your comfort and ensuring the treatment is applied effectively.

Are there any age restrictions for massage?

Massage is generally suitable for all ages, from children to older adults. However, for very young children, seniors with serious conditions, or individuals with specific medical issues, it’s recommended to consult a doctor or therapist first to determine the appropriate type and intensity of massage.

Can almond oil cause allergies?

Yes, almond oil can cause allergic reactions in some people, especially those with tree nut allergies. Common symptoms include redness, itching, or swelling on the skin. To be safe, perform a patch test by applying a small amount to your inner wrist or elbow and waiting 24–48 hours for any reaction before full use.

Important: Always inform your therapist about any allergies you have before a massage or skin treatment. This helps ensure your safety and allows your therapist to choose the most suitable oils or products for you.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

We understand that schedules can change. Please notify us at least 2 beforehand if you need to cancel or reschedule, otherwise the session may be charged as normal.

Can massage replace physiotherapy or medical treatment?

No, massage cannot replace physiotherapy or medical treatment. While massage can help relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and support recovery, it is not a substitute for professional medical care or physiotherapy, especially for serious injuries, chronic conditions, or medical diagnoses. It works best as a complementary therapy alongside proper medical guidance.

Can I have a massage during pregnancy?

Certain techniques or areas may be avoided, especially during the first trimester or if complications exist. We do not currently offer massage services for pregnant women, but we are taking steps to provide this service in the future. Always consult your doctor before starting massage during pregnancy.
